Shirley Baggett Deloatch
Shirley Baggett Deloatch, 84, of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019.
A native of Halifax County, she was born to the late Ira Almond and Geneva Peede Baggett, and was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Peter Deloatch.
Shirley was retired from the Champion International Paper, and was a member of New Testament Christian Church in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Deloatch and his wife, Tammy, of Roanoke Rapids; her grandsons, Ryan Deloatch and his wife, Ashley, of Greenville, North Carolina, Jordan Deloatch and his wife, Jenna, of Greenville, North Carolina; her granddaughters, Paula Crowley Short and her husband, Ryan, of Littleton, North Carolina, Marcie Crowley of Roanoke Rapids; her great-grandson, Holden Deloatch; her great-granddaughters, Mary Katherine Short and Kinliegh Kennedy .
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019, in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Daniel West officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 2:00 until service time at the funeral home.
